Places to see

Stop by the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and remember to swing by the main square and souq for some shopping.

Day trip

Head over to Volubilis, the ancient Roman ruins nearby. The best time to see them is around sunset.

Stop by the Terrasses Pavillion de Idrissides for a lunch overlooking the main square.

Places to stay

Stay at a Riad. One such option is the Riad D’or.

Food to try

Pastilla is a delicious marriage of sweet and savory: a crepe-like meat pie. Also, harira is a local, Moroccan soup.
